Bible Classes
Each week, there are several classes that meet at 8:30 AM or 9:45 AM on Sunday mornings. There’s also a class that meets at 11:00 AM on Thursday mornings. This is a great way to grow closer to God, and to enjoy making new friends within the Sun City Naz church community. See “Events” button to check schedule.
Concerts
Throughout the year, several gospel concerts are offered at Sun City Naz. Some of these events require complimentary tickets to assure everyone gets a seat. All donations received at concerts go to the featured musicians. See “Events” button to check schedule.
Craft Corner
Once or twice a month, crafters come together to create projects to keep or to bless babies through pregnancy centers or hospitals, homeless folks, those who are lonely, folks with dementia, etc. All skill levels welcome! See “Events” button to check schedule.
Funeral Meals
Be part of a team that sets up a simple meal for the family of someone who has passed away who was a part of the Sun City Naz church. This gives a chance for the family to relax, be together, and eat immediately following a funeral or memorial service at the church.
Gathering Place
Enjoy a cup of coffee & sweet treat, along with some conversation in a casual setting. Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:30 to 11:30 AM in the church lobby. See “Events” in case of occasional cancellation due to special circumstances.
GriefShare
This small group is offered to help us deal with loss in our lives, whether it’s recent or took place years ago. See “Events” button to check schedule of next session.
Men’s Ministries
Several times a year, all men are invited to enjoy a hot breakfast and a devotional by a special speaker. See “Events” button to check schedule.
Prayer Gatherings
While prayer is included every time we worship together, the following events are specifically focused on prayer. Each Monday at 9:00 AM, folks gather for morning prayer and communion. Each Wednesday from 11 AM to noon, folks gather for prayer.
Saints Alive Breakfasts
Several times a year, women and men who have retired from ministry assignments are invited to enjoy a hot breakfast and a devotional by a special speaker. See “Events” button to check schedule.
Singles’ Ministries
Our single adults are important to every aspect of our Sun City Naz church family. In addition, several times a year, they’re invited to a social event that usually includes good food and games.
Women’s Ministries
All women are invited to four luncheons a year that include a catered meal, special speaker & musicians, and lots of fun fellowship! Also, we offer to women several small group prayer & book studies.
Worship Service Ministries
Are you a musician (vocal or instrumental)? Perhaps you would be able to sing in our Celebration Choir or ensemble, or play an instrument in a service. Have you had experience running a sound board or presentation software for events? Are you a “techie” and would enjoy running the livestream sound & camera once a month? Would you enjoy reading the scripture passage to the congregation in a service once a month? How about greeting folks or helping folks find an available seat before a service begins? These are many of the areas where folks may volunteer to make Sun City Naz a great place to discover more about God’s love.
